Before UIS: Played two years at Black Hawk College… team won Arrowhead Conference championship and two sectional championship… finished with an 8-1 record for the second straight year and a 2.2 earned run average as a sophomore… was All-Arrowhead Conference and a pre-season All-American during second year… as a freshman had an 8-1 record, a 1.69 ERA and was both an all-conference and all-region selection.

High School: Won two letters in baseball at Batavia High School… ended senior season with a 10-1 record and a 1.8 ERA… was all-conference and all-area.

Personal: Son of Bryon and Kristin Karger… is a Biology major.
