What is a #WeAreStars Game?: A #WeAreStars game is a special event where all UIS athletes and athletics staff come together to show their school spirit and support a fellow team. It's an opportunity to unite as one athletic family, build camaraderie, and cheer on our Stars in competition, promoting pride and energy throughout the organization! 
 

The Marketing and Fan Experience staff is responsible for special event coordination as well as game management, promoting and implementing a positive fan experience for all Prairie Stars Athletic sports.
 
Areas include fan involvement activities that encourage attendance, improve atmosphere, and enhance fan experience. Initiatives are built surrounding pre-game, in-game and post-game activities.

Mascot & Cheerleading Team Appearance Request Procedure 

Are you looking for Orion and/or the Cheerleaders to be a guest at your next special event? Request forms must be submitted four weeks in advance of event.  Please email agole3@uis.edu for more information.  Appearances are limited and based on availability.
