UIS Athletics West

The Land of Lincoln Junior Olympic Softball Complex, known as UIS Athletics West boasts six main softball fields and an additional four fields to make it one of the largest in the midwest. The infield was recently upgraded to crushed limestone, which allows for a higher water intake, limiting rain delays. The Prairie Stars call field #4 their home, where they have renovated the dugouts and branded them with the new UIS logo. With 200 ft fences all the way around the outfield, the Prairie Stars also have full bullpens outside the field of play.
