th at the GLVC Championships.
UIS Indoor Track and Field:
2023- Competed in six meets, running the 800m, mile run, and 4x400m relay.
2022- Competed in three meets … member of the sixth-place 4x400 relay team at the Hilltop Invite.
UIS Outdoor Track and Field:
2023- Competed in seven meets... ran the 400, 800, 1500, and 4x400m relay.
2022- Competed in five meets … had one individual top-10 showing by coming in seventh in the 800m at the ONU Outdoor Invitational … member of the eighth-place 4x400 relay team at the Big Blue Alumni Invite.
UIS Academic Awards:
2022- GLVC Academic All-Conference.
High School:
Named the team’s Most Improved Runner in 2019 and 2020 … helped his team win three conference championships in cross country, and two in track and field … helped his cross country team qualify for state in 2020 … his top three-mile cross country time was 17:09 … other top times include 56.5 in the 400m, 2:12 in the 800m, and 5:07 in the 1,600m.

The son of Brandi McDonald and Aaron Ames … has one sibling, Violet … a Psychology major.
