The Prairie Stars are back on campus and preseason preparations are underway across UIS Athletics. With fall competition just around the corner, this week offers the first opportunity to see UIS soccer in action as both teams take the field for preseason scrimmages. This week's events:

At Home

UIS women's soccer will open the week's home action on Saturday, Aug. 15, with a Navy & Gold Scrimmage at 11:00 a.m. at Kiwanis Stadium. The intrasquad scrimmage will provide the first look at the Prairie Stars as they continue preparations for the 2026 season.

On Sunday, Aug. 16, men's soccer will host Illinois Central College in a preseason scrimmage, followed by women's soccer hosting Indian Hills in another scrimmage. The men's match is scheduled for 11:00 a.m., with women's soccer following at 3:00 p.m.

Admission is free for all preseason scrimmages, giving Prairie Stars fans their first chance to see UIS soccer teams in action this fall.
