Illinois Springfield men's tennis enters the final weekend of conference play with two key Great Lakes Valley Conference matchups and a spot in the conference tournament still within reach.

UIS will take on the Maryville Saints at 1:00 PM on Friday and the UMSL Tritons at 1:00 PM on Saturday. Both matches will be held at Springfield Racquet and Fitness Center.

Senior Day for Lin En Tan and Pablo Herrera is scheduled for Saturday at 11:15 AM prior to warmups.

UIS (7-9, 0-2 GLVC) is seeking its first conference win after falling 4-3 to the McKendree Bearcats and 6-1 to the Indianapolis Greyhounds last weekend.

Maryville (6-5, 2-1 GLVC) enters on a two-match conference win streak, defeating McKendree and UMSL by 5-2 scores. Friday's match will be the final regular season contest for the Saints.

UMSL (3-14, 0-3 GLVC) is still searching for its first GLVC win and most recently fell 5-2 to crosstown rival Maryville. UIS will look to capitalize on Senior Day and secure a crucial victory in its push for a conference tournament berth.
