Spring is in full swing, and the Prairie Stars are on the road for much of the week, with the exception of Sunday, when softball returns to the UIS Softball Field for the first home games of the season. Stay tuned for updates and results throughout the week, or sign up for email updates for your favorite teams.

Monday
All Day – Women's Golf at the Emerald Coast Classic

The second day of the event sees UIS looking to climb in the team standings after the first day. Elaine Grant is off to a strong start, tied for 4th. This is the first event of the spring season, with three rounds over three days.

Tuesday
All Day – Women's Golf at the Emerald Coast Classic
The final round takes place in Destin.

11:00 a.m. & 1:00 p.m. CT (12:00 & 2:00 p.m.) – Softball at Ohio Dominican
UIS (14-6) travels to Columbus, Ohio, for a midweek doubleheader at Ohio Dominican's Panther Field. These teams met recently at a UIS tournament, splitting games 10-5 (ODU) and 1-0 in eight innings (UIS). The season series is tied, and UIS looks to take the advantage.
*NOTE – Games moved to 12 PM ET DH.

Wednesday
All Day – Men's Golf at the Las Vegas Warrior Invitational
Spring opener in Henderson, Nev., for the Prairie Stars, who showed growth and improvement under head coach Josh Edison in the fall. GLVC opponent Quincy is also in the field. The teams will play three rounds over two days.

Thursday
All Day – Men's Golf at the Las Vegas Warrior Invitational
The final round of the event.

Friday
1:00 & 3:00 p.m. – Softball at Quincy

The Prairie Stars begin GLVC play with a doubleheader at Quincy. The Hawks (4-16) have had a slow start, but have recent wins over Augustana (SD) and Columbia College. UIS leads Quincy 16-11 all-time and looks to extend that lead.

5:00 p.m. – Baseball at William Jewell
UIS (11-6) opens GLVC play in the Kansas City area following a split with Davenport. William Jewell (4-10) lost all three games to Minot State last week. UIS leads this opponent 15-8-1 all-time.

5:40 p.m. CT (6:40 p.m. ET) – NCAA DII Indoor Track & Field Championships
Madelyn Miller-Ross of UIS women's track & field will compete in Virginia Beach for her second career indoor national championship appearance. She has qualified in the 5,000 meters, an event in which she earned second-team All-American honors last year. The race will be streamed on ncaa.com.

Saturday 
1:00 & 3:00 p.m. – Baseball at William Jewell
The series continues with a doubleheader of seven-inning games.

Sunday
12:00 & 2:00 p.m. – Softball vs Truman State (HOME)
The Prairie Stars open their home schedule against the Truman State Bulldogs (8-16). TSU went 2-2 at last week's Grand Slam Classic, defeating Washburn and Lincoln. They'll play at McKendree on Saturday before coming to Springfield.

1:00 p.m. – Baseball at William Jewell
The Prairie Stars and the Cardinals will play the series finale on Sunday afternoon.
