All Day – Men's Golf at the Dan Salisbury Memorial Collegiate Invitational
The Prairie Stars host their home invitational at Red Tail Run in Decatur, facing local competition alongside GLVC and regional DII opponents. Play begins at 10:00 a.m.
Tuesday, Mar. 24
All Day – Men's Golf at the Dan Salisbury Memorial Collegiate Invitational
The final round wraps up UIS' spring home event.
Thursday, Mar. 26
All Day – Track & Field at WashU Distance Carnival
The outdoor season opener takes the Prairie Stars to St. Louis for the annual Distance Carnival at WashU. Thursday's heats include the 10,000 meters and steeplechase.
Friday, Mar. 27
All Day – Track & Field at WashU Distance Carnival
The outdoor opener continues with a full slate of distance events, including multiple sections of the 5,000 meters from 3:45 to 7:00 p.m., followed by select 800 and 1,500 heats and top 5K sections to cap off the night.
2:00 p.m. – Baseball vs. Quincy
UIS (18-7, 7-1 GLVC), nationally ranked, has won its first two conference series, including a gritty showing last weekend against Drury. Quincy (19-9, 8-4 GLVC) enters after splitting with UMSL. Though UIS trails 14-31 all-time, the matchup has been much more even since 2013, with several postseason meetings highlighting the rivalry.Â
Saturday, Mar. 28
All Day – Track & Field at Big Blue Outdoor Opener
The Prairie Stars head to Decatur for Millikin's outdoor opener, competing in a full slate of events. UIS distance runners are expected to feature in the afternoon races, including the 1,500, 800, and 5,000 meters.
12:00 & 2:00 p.m. – Softball at Drury
UIS softball (21-9, 5-3 GLVC) is coming off a split with Rockhurst before responding with a pair of shutouts against Southwest Baptist. They now travel to Springfield, Mo., to face Drury (12-15, 4-4 GLVC), which has recently split series with both Maryville and McKendree. UIS trails 16-20 all-time but is looking to continue closing that gap.
12:00 & 3:30 p.m. – Baseball vs. Quincy
Saturday's doubleheader features two seven-inning games as the Prairie Stars continue their four-game set.
1:00 p.m. – Women's Soccer vs. Lewis & Clark
The Prairie Stars open their spring slate with a game at Lewis & Clark in Godfrey, Ill.
Men's Soccer vs. Illinois Central
UIS men's soccer opens up its spring scrimmage slate against Illinois Central with a home game.
Sunday, Mar. 29
10:00 a.m. – Women's Tennis vs. Rockhurst
UIS (4-7) returns home after a 5-2 road win over Truman State. Rockhurst (4-3), the reigning GLVC champions, recently swept McKendree 7-0 before falling 5-2 at UMSL.
10:00 a.m. – Men's Tennis vs. Rockhurst
UIS returns to DII competition after an exhibition at Illinois State. Rockhurst (3-3) enters as one of the stronger teams in the GLVC West, following a loss to McKendree and a win over UMSL.
12:00 p.m. – Baseball vs. Quincy
The series finale at the UIS Baseball Field, with the Prairie Stars aiming to win their third straight GLVC series.
12:00 & 2:00 p.m. – Softball at Missouri S&T
UIS wraps up its road trip in Rolla against Missouri S&T (17-11, 4-2 GLVC). The Miners competed in a UIS-hosted tournament earlier this season and have since split with Drury and UMSL before sweeping Maryville.
