UIS Softball will play its next 10 games at the Springfield Clinic Dome at Scheels Sports Park, hosting two tournaments and an additional doubleheader in the climate-controlled facility.
Spanning 196,625 square feet, the Springfield Clinic Dome is the largest indoor dome facility of its kind in the world. The multi-sport venue offers a premium environment that allows for uninterrupted competition while eliminating weather-related delays or cancellations. The Dome is designed to host multiple events simultaneously, providing an enhanced experience for student-athletes and fans alike.
The Prairie Stars open play at the Dome with the UIS Springfield Clinic Classic on February 12-13, featuring UIS, Lake Erie, Missouri S&T, Thomas More, and UIndy. Two fields will be in use throughout the tournament.

UIS will return to the Dome the following week to host the Capital City McDonald's Classic on February 19-20, featuring Davenport and Ohio Dominican.
The Prairie Stars will conclude their stretch at the Springfield Clinic Dome with a doubleheader against Roosevelt on February 25, beginning at 12:00 PM.

Fan Information
UIS students, faculty, and staff receive free admission with a valid ID or Event Pass. General admission day passes are available for $8 for adults and $5 for youth. Free parking is available on site, and concessions will be open throughout the events.
Tickets can be purchased in advance online through the
UIS Box Office or the
HomeTown Fan App, or at the door on game day. Doors open one hour prior to the first scheduled game each day.
Bleacher seating is available at each field. Spectators may also bring lawn chairs.
