Springfield pride will be on full display Thursday night as UIS Basketball hosts Springfield Day at the Prairie Stars' home games on Thursday, Jan. 29, celebrating the city and its community partners with giveaways, prizes, and in-game fun. The women's game tips off at 5:30 p.m., followed by the men's game at 7:30 p.m.
Fans attending both the women's and men's basketball games will have opportunities to receive prizes from local organizations throughout the night, making it a true celebration of everything Springfield has to offer.
Women's Game Giveaways
Fans arriving early to the women's game will be rewarded with the following giveaways:
- First 75 fans will receive a voucher for a gourmet mini horseshoe from Legacy Pointe Eatery, served at halftime of the women's game.
- First 100 fans will be able to choose between a Malibu Jack's Free Attraction Card or a Knights Action mini golf pass.
Men's Game Giveaways
Giveaways will continue during the men's game:
- First 30 fans will receive ticket vouchers to a St. Louis Cardinals game.
- Next 100 fans will receive a Malibu Jack's Free Attraction Card.
- Any remaining Knights Action mini golf passes will also be available during the men's game.
Raffle & In-Game Prizes
Throughout the night, fans will have opportunities to participate in free raffles featuring a variety of Springfield-area prizes. Winners will be invited to come down and select from a prize table that includes:
- Knights Action Park day passes
- Illinois State Fair parking pass and admission tickets
- Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum admission passes
- Henson Robinson Zoo Family Day Pass
- Potbelly swag bags
- Raising Cane's golf towels
