Homecoming week is here! Prairie Stars fans have plenty to cheer for, with home golf, volleyball, and exciting fall sports homecoming competitions. Be sure to join in the fun with giveaways and all the action on campus this week.

Monday, Sept. 15
8:30 a.m. (All Day) – Women's Golf, Dan Salisbury Memorial Collegiate Invitational (HOME)
UIS welcomes a GLVC field to Piper Glen for the first day of home competition. The team looks to set the pace early in the invitational and showcase their skills in front of the home crowd.

Tuesday, Sept. 16
8:30 a.m. (All Day) – Women's Golf, Dan Salisbury Memorial Collegiate Invitational (HOME)
The Prairie Stars wrap up play at the home invitational, aiming for strong finishes and continued success on their home course.

Thursday, Sept. 18
6:00 p.m. – Volleyball vs. Northwest Missouri State (HOME, PRAIRIE STAR CLASSIC)
UIS (6-1) opens the Prairie Star Classic against the Bearcats (5-2) from the MIAA. The last time these teams met in 2021, NWMSU came out on top, setting the stage for an exciting matchup to kick off the Prairie Star Classic for UIS.

Friday, Sept. 19
5:00 p.m. – Women's Soccer vs. Quincy (HOME)
The Prairie Stars (1-1-2) host the Hawks (1-1-2) in a GLVC matchup during homecoming week. UIS comes off a thrilling 3-3 draw with William Jewell, and fans can enjoy pre-game giveaways and the lively homecoming atmosphere.

5:15 p.m. – Men's Cross Country at Bradley Intercollegiate
UIS will run a partial squad at its first road competition of the season, an 8K race at Detweiller Park in Peoria, Ill.

6:00 p.m. – Volleyball vs. Nebraska-Kearney (HOME, PRAIRIE STAR CLASSIC)
The Lopers (9-0) from the MIAA face UIS in their first Prairie Star Classic matchup. 

6:00 p.m. – Women's Cross Country at Bradley Intercollegiate
The Prairie Stars will run a partial squad at the first road competition of the year. While still short of championship distances, this race provides a chance to tune up and gain experience against competitive teams. The meet is hosted at Detweiller Park in Peoria, Ill. 

7:30 p.m. – Men's Soccer vs. Quincy (HOME)
UIS looks for a conference win after a 2-1 loss to William Jewell on Sunday, while Quincy is 2-1-1 in conference play. This homecoming matchup promises a lively showcase with bonfire and fireworks following the game.

Saturday, Sept. 20
1:00 p.m. – Softball vs. Alumni Game (HOME)
The annual fall alumni game kicks off a fun day of homecoming action.

4:00 p.m. – Volleyball vs. Maryville (HOME, PRAIRIE STAR CLASSIC)
The final match of the weekend for UIS in the Prairie Star Classic. Maryville (2-5) comes off a 17-11 season last year, and UIS leads the series 14-4. This is the official homecoming volleyball game with giveaways and homecoming excitement in full swing.

6:00 p.m. – Softball vs. Lake Land College (HOME)
Following the alumni game, UIS softball continues with a fall scrimmage against Lake Land College.

Sunday, Sept. 21
12:00 p.m. – Men's Soccer at Truman State
The first road conference game of the season for UIS. Truman State (1-0-1) lost 3-0 at Indianapolis on Sunday, and UIS leads the series 8-2-1, including a 2-0 win last fall.

2:30 p.m. – Women's Soccer at Truman State
Road GLVC matchup following the men's game. Truman State (1-1-1) defeated UIndy 3-2 to start conference play. Series history favors TSU 8-2-1, but recent matchups have been competitive, promising an exciting contest.
