The week ahead is packed with Prairie Stars action as women's golf tees off its fall season at the UIndy Fall Invitational. Both cross country and men's golf are off the competition schedule, while volleyball hits the road for the Hall of Fame City Challenge in Ohio. At home, men's and women's soccer each host a pair of matches at Kiwanis Stadium, including their conference openers and Senior Day celebrations.
 
Monday, Sept. 8
All Day – Women's Golf at UIndy Fall Invitational
The fall season begins in Henryville, Ind., for the Prairie Stars. Host Indianapolis welcomes 11 teams, including seven more from the GLVC, to Champions Pointe Golf Club.

Tuesday, Sept. 9
All Day – Women's Golf at UIndy Fall Invitational
The Prairie Stars wrap up their season-opening competition, which features three rounds of stroke play over two days.

Wednesday, Sept. 10
2:00 p.m. – Women's Soccer vs. Ohio Dominican (HOME)
UIS women's soccer hosts ODU in its final non-conference matchup before GLVC play begins Sunday. The Prairie Stars (0-1-1) are seeking their first win of the season. Last year, these teams played to a 1-1 draw in Columbus, Ohio, setting the stage for a rematch.
Theme: WEAR BLUE – Pack Kiwanis Stadium in Prairie Stars blue!

7:00 p.m. – Men's Soccer vs. Purdue Northwest (HOME)
UIS men's soccer closes its non-conference schedule under the lights at Kiwanis Stadium against Purdue Northwest. Always a competitive matchup, the Prairie Stars (0-1-1) aim for their first win of 2025.
Theme: WEAR BLUE – Blue Out Game!

Friday, Sept. 12
1:30 p.m. CT (2:30 p.m. ET) – Volleyball vs. Malone (Hall of Fame City Challenge)
UIS travels to Canton, Ohio, for the Hall of Fame City Challenge hosted by Malone. The Stars (2-1) face the host team to open the tournament. UIS won the only prior meeting, a sweep a decade ago. Malone went 5-24 last season and competes in the GMAC.

6:00 p.m. CT (7:00 p.m. ET) – Volleyball vs. Bloomsburg (Hall of Fame City Challenge)
The Prairie Stars face Bloomsburg for the first time in program history. The Huskies, members of the PSAC, finished 9-18 last season and are 2-2 entering the weekend.

Saturday, Sept. 13
10:15 a.m. CT (11:15 a.m. ET) – Volleyball vs. Slippery Rock (Hall of Fame City Challenge)
UIS continues tournament play against another PSAC opponent. Slippery Rock finished 12-14 in 2024.

2:45 p.m. CT (3:45 p.m. ET) – Volleyball vs. Bluefield State (Hall of Fame City Challenge)
The Stars close the event against Bluefield State, a CIAA member. The Big Blue are 1-3 early this season after finishing 16-18 last fall.

Sunday, Sept. 14
12:00 p.m. – Women's Soccer vs. William Jewell (HOME)
The Prairie Stars open GLVC play and celebrate Senior Day at Kiwanis Stadium. UIS has won the last four matchups with the Cardinals, who are also 0-1-1 on the year.
Theme: SENIOR DAY – Celebrate UIS seniors!

2:30 p.m. – Men's Soccer vs. William Jewell (HOME)
UIS follows with its men's Senior Day and GLVC opener. The Stars lead the all-time series 8-5-2, though the last two meetings have ended in draws. Jewell enters at 0-1 following a 4-1 loss to Rockhurst.
