Illinois Springfield (1-3)
UIS fell 73-64 to No. 24 Ferris State on Saturday afternoon, pushing the ranked opponent by forcing turnovers and keeping the game fast-paced. The Prairie Stars came up short but remain in good form with one game left before conference play begins, having opened the season with a tough regional slate.
Through four games, graduate transfer
Kennedy Osterman and junior returner
Kayla Rice are both averaging 13.8 points per game, while freshman
