The Illinois Springfield men's golf team continues its fall schedule Monday and Tuesday at McKendree's Bearcat Dual Gender in Caseyville, Ill. The Prairie Stars will compete alongside a field that includes primarily Great Lakes Valley Conference programs.

The men's field consists of Upper Iowa, Lewis, Quincy, Maryville, Rockhurst, McKendree, Kentucky Wesleyan, and UIS.

Last Time Out
UIS is coming off a strong showing at the Midwest Collegiate, hosted by Missouri-St. Louis at Rock Hollow Golf Club in Peru, Ind. Peyton Woods led the Prairie Stars with a standout runner-up finish, carding a 5-under total of 211 (68–76–67) and closing with a birdie on the 18th hole to secure second place. His 67 in the final round was the best in the field.

Freshman Vilgot Arleback finished with a 228 total (74–77–77), while Julien Babineau shot 230 (85–75–70). Sacha Lamraski followed with 234 (80–76–78), and Jake Baldin rounded out the lineup at 239 (82–77–80). 

The Prairie Stars look to carry that momentum into this week's event as they continue to build consistency through their fall slate.
