Five Represent UIS Cross Country on USTFCCCA All-Academic Teams

The UIS men's and women's cross country teams earned United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Honors in the fall semester. Five individuals were also recognized for their achievements. An individual qualifies for the award by having a grade point average above 3.25 and finishing in the top 30% of the NCAA Regional.

Madelyn Miller earned USTFCCCA All-Academic honors for the first time to represent UIS women's cross country. Miller was 36th at the NCAA DII Midwest Regional in a personal record time of 21 minutes and 37 seconds.

Four represented UIS men's cross country: Cort Ross, Briar Nevills, Ryan Jones, and Noah Tegeler. The team finished 5th at the NCAA DII Midwest Regional, led by Ross who was the third-place individual.
