Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 The UIS men's tennis team split their weekend of competition when they swept Lewis and Clark Community College on Friday before falling to Hillsdale on Saturday. 

The Prairie Stars took down The Lewis and Clark Trailblazers 4-0 on Friday morning at the Springfield Racquet and Fitness Center. The dominance began in doubles play where Arthur Figuiere and Sebastian Jonsson won 6-1. Rafa Rojas and Philip Rydell were also 6-1, and Pablo Herrera and Ivan Esguerra were 6-0. Rojas won 6-0, 6-0 in singles, and Esguerra was 6-1, 6-0 against his opponent.

Pablo Herrera and Ivan Esguerra won their doubles match 6-4 when Hillsdale came to Springfield on Saturday, but the Chargers claimed the doubles point. Esguerra and Arthur Figuiere each won their singles competitions. Figuiere remains undefeated in singles competition.

UIS men's tennis, now 1-3, will begin conference play when they welcome Southwest Baptist to Springfield on March 24.
