The University of Illinois Springfield men's tennis team fell to the Southwest Baptist Bearcats on Thursday afternoon by a 5-2 margin. 

UIS's points came from singles wins by Arthur Figuiere and Pablo Herrera. Figuiere went to a third set and won 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 to remain undefeated in singles play. Herrera won 7-5, 6-3. 

UIS falls to 1-4 on the season and 0-1 in GLVC action. The Prairie Stars will face Drury on Saturday.
