The University of Illinois Springfield women's basketball team will continue their road swing this weekend, first facing Truman State in Kirksville, Mo. on Thursday. 

The Prairie Stars fell to the Lewis Flyers last weekend by a score of 73-54, and are on the hunt for their third conference win this season. 

UIS fell to Truman State by just seven points when the teams met in December. UIS outscored Truman State 49-42 in the second half, but could not come away with the win. 

Truman State is in second place in the current conference standings. Their 12-3 conference record lands them right below the 14-0 Drury Panthers. The Bulldogs have won three of their last five conference games.
