The University of Illinois Springfield women's basketball team will end the regular season on the road this weekend.
First, the Prairie Stars will face No. 2 Drury (25-1, 18-0 GLVC) this Thursday at 5:30 p.m. UIS is 0-17 all-time versus the Panthers, and fell 82-63 last time they met.
UIS will then face Southwest Baptist on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. The Bearcats (12-14, 6-12 GLVC) are on a three-game losing streak.
The Prairie Stars are coming off of a 89-57 win over William Jewell. UIS is 4-22 overall and 4-14 in the conference. They are No. 2 in the GLVC in free throw percentage, 3-point field goals made, and steals.
Individually in the GLVC,
Ariyah Douglas is the No. 3 scorer with 17.1 points per game.
Liz Uhl is sixth on that list with 16.0. Uhl is also No. 4 in free throw percentage (83.9%).
Saharra Murphy is No. 3 in the GLVC with 45 steals, an average of 1.73 per game.
