The University of Illinois Springfield volleyball team fell to #3 UMSL Tritons on Friday night in St. Louis. The Prairie Stars drop to 9-14 on the season, and 3-7 in the GLVC.

• The Prairie Stars fell in straight sets; 18-25, 23-25, 15-25

• UMSL moves to 25-0 on the season, and 10-0 in the GLVC

• In the first two sets the Prairie Stars had early leads, but UMSL showed why they have been in the national rankings the whole year with quick runs to take the lead
