The University of Illinois Springfield volleyball team continues GLVC play this weekend on the road against Southwest Baptist and Drury. UIS's current record is 8-10 with a 2-3 GLVC record, which puts the Prairie Stars 9th in the league. 

UIS had an extremely successful weekend in Hammond, Indiana at the Midwest Regional Crossover going 3-0 against regional opponents. The Prairie Stars defeated Wayne State and Trevecca Nazarene both 3-1 on Friday. On Saturday, UIS beat Cedarville 3-2 as they won the final two sets. Eirini Glynou was named to the All-Tournament Team with 54 kills, 41 digs, 61 points, and double-doubles in all three matches of the weekend.
