The University of Illinois Springfield volleyball team will travel to Hammond, Indiana to compete in the 2023 Midwest Regional Crossover at the Hammond Sportsplex. 

The Crossover is a tournament consisting of teams from the GLVC, GLIAC, and GMAC conferences for in-region matchups. At the Crossover, the Prairie Stars will face Wayne State, Trevecca Nazarene, and Cedarville. 

UIS 

• 5-10 on the year with a 2-3 GLVC record

• Eirini Glynou leads the team with 228 kills and is 2nd in the GLVC with 4.47 kills per set

• Erica Sledge has 445 assists on the year, sitting in 7th in the GLVC with 8.73 per set

• Amanda McConnell has 239 digs on the year and is 5th in the GLVC with 4.69 per set

• Glynou and Sledge also have over 100 digs on the year

• Maria Spengler has also chipped in 115 kills of her own

Wayne State

• 5-12 on the year with a 2-7 record in the GLIAC

• Molly Miller leads the team with 194 kills on the year

• Kayla Giroux also has 168 kills 

• Kayla Dulgar has registered 572 assists so far this season 

• Kendyl Andrew leads the Warriors with 257 digs 

• Dulgar and Miller also have over 100 digs on the year

Trevecca Nazarene

• 9-11 on the year with a 6-5 record in the GMAC

• Comes into the weekend on a three match winning streak

• Emma Titus leads the Trojans with 254 kills on the year

• Maddie Wilds and Cara Maguire both have over 100 kills on the year also

• Emilee McDonald has recorded 534 assists so far this year

• Katie Crutchfield has 256 digs this year for the Trojans

• Titus, Wilds, Maguire, and McDonald also have over 100 digs on the year as well

Cedarville 

• 9-8 on the year with a 4-5 record in the GMAC

• Madelyn Hensley leads a balanced Yellow Jackets attack with 209 kills

• Janae Heegaard, Greta Blakemore, and Cassi Shields also have over 100 kills on the season

• Kaley Matney has registered 468 assists on the year

• Haley Goff also has 158 assists on the year

• Talia Felton has 220 digs so far this year, as Blakemore also has 126 digs of her own
