UIS women's basketball will host conference opponent McKendree at TRAC on Saturday at 1 p.m. UIS Athletics will be celebrating National Girls and Women in Sports Day with free admission and activities for youth athletes.

Feb. 1st, 2023 marks the 37th annual National Girls and Women in Sports Day. This celebration inspires girls and women to play, be active, and become strong leaders in sports and life. All women and girls in sports in attendance on Saturday can join UIS female athletes on the court at halftime for a group picture in celebration of NGWSD. 

McKendree women's basketball is 5-6 in the GLVC and is 9th in the current conference standings. The Bearcats average 63.6 points per game and a 43.7% field goal percentage. UIS and McKendree have each won one of their last three conference matchups.
