The University of Illinois Springfield volleyball team swept a pair of matches on Saturday in Oklahoma City, Okla., and finished the Eagles Classic with a 3-1 record. Its final two victories came over Arkansas Tech and Westminster.

UIS won the opener by scores of 25-19, 25-14, and 25-15. The Prairie Stars hit .327, while holding Arkansas Tech to just a .136 mark.

Angela Denney and
Zanea Spencer combined for 30 kills in the match. Spencer had a .632 hitting percentage, while Denney hit over .300.
Eirini Glynou had seven kills in the match, and also had two aces and one block to reach double-figure points.
Regan Trueblood had 31 assists and two services aces.
Marta Perez and
Amanda McConnell each had a team-high 12 digs.

UIS concluded the tournament with a 25-11, 25-14, and 26-24 victory over Westminster. The Prairie Stars hit over .320 again, and had seven blocks. UIS also showed some fight after trailing 23-21 late in the third set. UIS scored five of the final six points for the come-from-behind win.

Denney hit .576 for the match, and had 21 kills, and Spencer was in double-figures again with 10. Denney also had three services aces, two blocks, and finished with 25.5 points.
Regan Trueblood collected a double-double with 33 assists and 13 digs. Glynou and McConnell each had 11 digs, and
Ericka Snopko finished with six blocks.
