The University of Illinois Springfield men's tennis team ended its 2021-22 season on Saturday afternoon with a winning performance. The Prairie Stars defeated Lindenwood by a 4-1 on the UIS Tennis Courts.

UIS opened the match by sweeping all three doubles matches. The duo of
Menno Servaes and
Tomas Martinez clinched the point with a 7-5 at the No. 1 position.
Nick Revin and
Oscar Toro won the No. 2 match, and
Matthew Lapsley and
Ivan Esguerra captured the No. 3 contest.

In singles play, the Prairie Stars won straight set victories at No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3. Martinez, Revin, and
Sebastian Jonsson were all winners. The lone point for the Lions came at the No. 6 spot.

UIS ends its season with an 8-9 overall record. The Prairie Stars were fifth in GLVC East Division play with a 2-4 mark.
