The University of Illinois Springfield women's basketball team travels north on Monday evening for a 5:30 p.m. game against Lewis.
The Prairie Stars are looking for program history in the game. With their next victory, they will clinch their most wins in their NCAA era, and their first winning season since 1998-99.
With a win, UIS will also have its longest winning streak since that 1998-99 year. The Prairie Stars won their fifth straight last Thursday with a 61-43 victory over Quincy. The victory moved UIS to 13-6 on the season, and 8-5 in conference action.
Lewis enters Monday's game with a 6-12 overall record, and a 4-6 GLVC mark. The Flyers defeated Quincy on Saturday afternoon by a 57-55 score.
