The University of Illinois Springfield women's basketball team ended its regular season on Saturday in Springfield, Mo. with a 92-66 loss to No. 9 Drury.
 
The two teams had identical scores for the final three quarters of play, but Drury jumped out to a 34-8 lead after one quarter which was the difference. Drury had seven fewer turnovers and had a 35-13 advantage in points off turnovers.
 
UIS scored 39 bench points, including 20 from 
Liz Uhl. 
Carson Vance had 13 and 
Ashley Wachter added six off the bench. Among the starters, 
Ally Gietzel just missed a double-double with 14 points and nine rebounds. Wachter had a team-high two steals, and 
Lauren Ladowski led the squad with three assists.
 
UIS ends the regular season with a 16-10 overall record and 11-9 GLVC mark.
