The GLVC announced the bracket for the GLVC Volleyball Championship Tournament on Saturday. It will be a three-day tournament from Thursday, Nov. 10 to Saturday, Nov. 12. The tournament is held at the Eastside Centre in East Peoria, Ill. 

The UIS Prairie Stars are the seven seed in the eight team tournament and will begin tournament play against No. 2 Missouri-St. Louis on Thursday at 5:30 PM CT. Missouri-St. Louis went 11-1 in the GLVC in the regular season, they also share the GLVC Regular Season title with Quincy University. UIS is making its fifth-straight GLVC postseason appearance and has a 5-7 conference record. 

UIS Volleyball has 12-12 overall record so far this fall. The Tritons won in three sets by scores of 25-16, 25-21, and 25-16 in the most recent matchup against the Prairie Stars. Angela Denney was the leader in kills during that matchup with 14. Regan Trueblood had 19 assists and Amanda McConnell had 14 digs. 

The winner of the quarterfinal matchup will face the winner of No. 3 Rockhurst and No. 6 Indianapolis on Friday at 5:30 PM CT.
