UIS Volleyball took the No. 2 seed in the GLVC, Missouri St-Louis, to five sets in the quarterfinal round. Missouri St. Louis won the matchup by scores of 25-21, 26-24, and 15-12 in the last three sets. 

The No. 7 Prairie Stars took the first two sets with scores of 25-21 and 25-20. Angela Denney was a key player for the Prairie Stars with 29 kills and 20 digs. 

UIS Volleyball will not advance to the semifinal round tomorrow. They went 12-13 overall and 5-7 in the conference this fall. Their .480 overall winning percentage is an improvement from 2021, in which it was .467. It is also their best winning percentage since 2019. Prairie Stars volleyball has improved each year under head coach Kamille Jones.
