The University of Illinois Springfield men's golf team had a pair of individuals in action at the Kentucky Wesleyan Panther Invitational in Owensboro, Ky. over the weekend.
 
David Ayala finished in the top-20 in the 64-person field. He shot a three-over 75 for the opening 75 holes, and then shot an 81 during Saturday's round. He had a two-day total of 156, which tied for 19^th.
 
Spencer Jury shot a 172 for the tournament. He had an 84 in the first round, and followed that with an 88.
 
The men's golf team will be in action again on April 12-13 at the Ken Partridge Invitational in Noblesville, Ind.
