Â
The matchup featured the top two defenses in the GLVC, and the game lived up to that billing. The difference in the game was just one turnover in the first minute of the second half. The Indianapolis player collected the pass and scored in the left corner of the goal for the game's only goal.

After outshooting UIS by a 30-3 margin in their regular season meeting, Indianapolis had just an 11-7 edge in shots this time. The Greyhounds had four shots on goal, compared to two for the Prairie Stars. UIS had a 5-3 advantage in corner kicks.
