The University of Illinois Springfield women's soccer team ended its season on Friday afternoon in St. Louis, Mo. The Prairie Stars fell to Maryville by a 1-0 score in the season finale.
 
The game's only goal occurred just 37 seconds into the match. A Maryville attacker took a pass and put it into the bottom left corner of the goal.
 
That shot was the only difference in a close game. Both teams have five shots on goal, and the Saints had a 9-7 advantage in total shots.
 
Amanda Finnell made four saves in goal. Abby Dellarmorte had two shots and one shot on goal for the Prairie Stars.
 
UIS ends its season with a 2-9-1 overall record.
