The University of Illinois Springfield men's tennis team did not lose a match on Sunday in its home opener. The Prairie Stars knocked off Michigan Tech by a 7-0 score.

Menno Servaes had a strong showing at the No. 1 singles and doubles spots. He lost just two games in his singles match, and won 6-1 in doubles with
Tomas Martinez. Martinez also won his No. 2 singles match by scores of 6-3 and 6-1.

Also in doubles,
Matthew Lapsley and
Nick Revin won 7-5 at the No. 2 position, and
Oscar Toro and
Alex Chan were 6-2 victors at No. 3.

In singles, Revin lost just two games at the No. 3 position, and
Rafa Rojas lost just one at the No. 4 position. Chan was the winner at No. 5, and Lapsley won his No. 6 match.

UIS improves to 3-0 on the season. The Prairie Stars are back in action on Friday against Missouri-St. Louis.
