The University of Illinois Springfield women's basketball team travels to St. Charles, Mo. on Tuesday evening for a 6 p.m. game against Lindenwood.
UIS is coming off a thrilling 69-63 overtime win at Indianapolis last Thursday. The Prairie Stars allowed just eight points in the fourth quarter, and then back-to-back baskets by
Grace Weber put UIS ahead for good in overtime. That win moved the team back to .500 at 6-6.
Lindenwood is 6-4 on the season after recording back-to-back wins last week at home against Rockhurst and Southwest Baptist.
UIS will look to take advantage of a Lindenwood team that is turning the ball over 19.1 times a game. The Prairie Stars are forcing over 17 turnovers over their last three games.
