The University of Illinois Springfield women's basketball team returns to the court this Sunday after a 15-day break. The Prairie Stars had to cancel a home game against Northern Michigan, but added a road contest at Bradley.

UIS is off to a 6-2 start this season. Last time out, the Prairie Stars edged Indianapolis by a 63-60 score, which pushed the team to 2-1 in the GLVC.

Bradley is 3-4 on the season prior to a Saturday road trip to nationally-ranked LSU. The Braves are 3-0 on their home court, including a win over Big 10 Wisconsin.

UIS and Bradley have not met in an official contest before. The two have met in two exhibitions since UIS moved to the NCAA level, with the Braves winning both.
