Men's Tennis Earns Shutout Victory Over Olivet Nazarene

Box Score The University of Illinois Springfield men's tennis team had its first dual meet of the season on Friday afternoon at the UIS Tennis Courts. The Prairie Stars won all nine matches in a 7-0 victory over Olivet Nazarene.
 
UIS lost just three games in its three doubles matches. The pairing of Menno Servaes and Sebastian Jonsson shutout their opponents. Tomas Martinez and Oscar Toro dropped just one game, and Nick Revin and Matthew Lapsley won 6-2.
 
In singles, UIS won all six in straight sets. Lapsley shutout his opponent, while Servaes and Revin each lost just one game. The other winners were Jonsson, Martinez, and Zubin Omar.
 
The match was the final event for UIS during its fall season.
