The University of Illinois Springfield women's basketball team has an important matchup on Thursday as it starts the second half of its GLVC schedule. The Prairie Stars will travel to Indianapolis on Thursday for a 5:30 p.m. (eastern) game.

Both Eastern Division teams enter the contest with similar records as the Prairie Stars are 5-6, and Indianapolis is 5-7.

The two teams met last week at TRAC, and Indianapolis won by a 71-63 score. UIS was within two with 45 seconds left before the Greyhounds scored the final six points of the contest.

Indianapolis shot 53.8 percent from the field for the game, and outrebounded UIS by a 28-22 margin. For the season, the Greyhounds are fourth in the league with a .455 field-goal percentage, and fourth with a +4.0 rebounding margin.
