The University of Illinois Springfield women's basketball team looks for a home victory on Thursday night when McKendree comes to town for a 4:30 p.m. game.
UIS shot a season-high 46.2 percent from the field last Tuesday against Indianapolis, but the Prairie Stars fell in the contest by a 71-63 margin. The Prairie Stars dropped to 4-5 on the season.
McKendree snapped a three-game losing streak last time out with a 76-63 victory over Indianapolis.That was the Bearcats only game over the last 12 days.
UIS looks to have an advantage on the boards in Thursday's matchup. The Prairie Stars are ranked sixth in the league with a +2.9 rebounding margin. McKendree sits 13th in that category with a -5.5 rebounding margin for the season.
