The University of Illinois Springfield women's basketball team starts a three-game homestand on Tuesday. The Prairie Stars will face Indianapolis in a 4:30 p.m. game at TRAC.
UIS enters the week at .500 on the season with a 4-4 mark. The Prairie Stars lost in their last outing by an 85-56 margin at Missouri-St. Louis.
Indianapolis is currently 4-6 in 2020-21. The Greyhounds are on a three-game losing streak, including a 73-64 loss at Lewis last Saturday.
UIS and Indianapolis have played competitive games in recent years. Six out of the last seven games have been decided by 10 points or less, including three out of the last four being decided by four or less. The Greyhounds are 6-1 in those close contests.
