The University of Illinois Springfield women's basketball team travels to regional rival McKendree on Saturday afternoon. The two teams will tip off at 1 p.m. in Lebanon, Ill.

The Prairie Stars are looking to continue their surge in recent week, including two wins over the the last three games. Last time out, UIS lost its home finale by a 69-61 score to Southern Indiana.

McKendree will enter Saturday's game on a four-game losing streak. The Bearcats fell to Lewis on Thursday night by a 71-62 score.

McKendree is led by its defense, including ranking third in the GLVC with a .392 field-goal percentage defense. UIS will counter with an offense that has scored over 80 points in three out of the last five contests.
