The University of Illinois Springfield women's basketball team is playing its best offensive ball of the year, and has won two straight games. It will look to stay hot in its home finale on Thursday night when it faces Southern Indiana at 5:30 p.m.

UIS won both games last week against Missouri S&T and Maryville, with that second contest being decided by an 85-80 score on Saturday.

Southern Indiana has won five straight games. Last time out, it defeated Missouri-St. Louis by a 64-54 margin.

The Screaming Eagles are among GLVC leaders with a +5.00 turnover margin, and they are forcing nearly 20 turnovers a game. UIS turned the ball over just 13 turnovers a game in its two victories last week.
