Game Program

The University of Illinois Springfield women's basketball team begins its 2020-21 season this Friday. The Prairie Stars will be at home for a 4:30 p.m. game against Quincy. UIS will play a 22-game, conference-only schedule this season.

UIS will begin its second season under head coach Casey Thousand. Eight players return from last year's squad, which was the highest-scoring team in the program's NCAA era.

Last year, UIS fell to Quincy by a 78-72 score. Lauren Ladowski led the Prairie Stars with 19 points, and Makenna Fee had 12. The Hawks are 18-5 all-time against UIS, but the Prairie Stars have won four out of the last five games.
