The University of Illinois Springfield women's basketball team has game number three of its current five-game homestand on Saturday at 1 p.m. The Prairie Stars will host GLVC newcomer Lindenwood at TRAC.

UIS is coming into the game on a high note after a 60-48 win over Missouri-St. Louis on Thursday night. The Prairie Stars were dominant on the defensive end, holding the Tritons to just 27 percent shooting from the field.

Lindenwood fell in its Thursday night GLVC matchup with Lewis. The Flyers won that game by a score of 86-75.

UIS's defense, which is allowing less than 70 points a game, will be tested against one of the league's top players. The Lions' Kallie Bildner is averaging 22.9 points and 11.0 rebounds on the season.
