The University of Illinois Springfield men's tennis team warmed up for the 2020 portion of its schedule on Friday with an exhibition game at Illinois State. The Prairie Stars were competitive in most of the singles matches, but the NCAA Division I Redbirds won by a 6-1 score.

Illinois State swept the doubles matches, with the closest being Matthew Lapsley and Rafa Rojas falling 6-3 at the No. 3 position.
