The University of Illinois Springfield women's basketball team continues its long road trip this Saturday when it takes on Southern Indiana in Evansville, Ind.

In the current GLVC Point Rating System, UIS is 11th with a 2.18 rating, while Southern Indiana in third with a 3.54 mark. The top eight marks at the end of the regular season will advance to the GLVC Tournament.

On Thursday night, UIS fell on the road to Bellarmine by a 75-54 score. Lauren Ladowksi paced the Prairie Stars with 13 points. Katelyn Rosner recorded season-highs of 10 points and three blocks. Southern Indiana outlasted McKendree by a 66-62 margin.

Southern Indiana picked up a 64-51 victory against the Prairie Stars last season. Shelbi Patterson racked up 24 points for UIS.
