The University of Illinois Springfield volleyball team has just four matches remaining in the regular season, starting with its final road trip this weekend. The Prairie Stars will travel to Drury on Friday evening, followed by a trip to Bolivar, Mo. on Saturday to take on Southwest Baptist.
 
UIS (17-11, 6-5)
For the second straight week, UIS went 2-1 in the last seven days, including a 1-1 record in GLVC games. The Prairie Stars defeated McKendree, but fell to Southern Indiana, in their most recent conference action.
 
Statistically, UIS currently ranks sixth in the GLVC in hitting percentage, and is fourth in opponent hitting percentage. The Prairie Stars led the GLVC in blocking.
 
Among individual conference leaders, Brianna Bush is fourth in the GLVC in blocks, Becca Blakeley is fifth in assists, Jailyn Borum is fifth in digs, and Alli Splitt is sixth in hitting percentage.
 
About Drury (16-12, 10-1)
Drury enters the week tied for the GLVC lead with a 10-1 conference record. Its only conference setback came in its last contest when Drury fell to Missouri S&T in four sets.
 
The Panthers are currently ranked fifth in the conference in opponent hitting percentage, and they are 13^th in hitting percentage. Drury is sixth in the conference in blocking.
 
Julia McCown ranks ninth in the GLVC with 3.35 kills a set. Makina Wratten is fifth in the league in blocking, and Paige Perry is sixth in digs.
