The University of Illinois Springfield men's soccer team scored five goals for the second straight game on Sunday afternoon at Kiwanis Stadium in Springfield, Ill. That led the Prairie Stars to a 5-1 victory over Truman State.

Mario Falsone scored two goals, both of them in the first 25 minutes to help UIS jump out to a 3-0 lead.
Dan Mahony also scored in that stretch, with
Harry Hiscock getting an assist.

Truman added one goal in the first half to make the score 3-1 at halftime. In the second half, the Prairie Stars put the game away with two goals in the first 20 minutes of the half.
Mario Gonzalez had the first score in the second half, with Mahony getting the assist.
Drew Keller added the final goal of the game, with
Adrian Ortega assisting.

UIS is now 5-4-1 on the season, and 3-3-1 in GLVC play. The Prairie Stars will be home next Friday against Bellarmine in the team's Homecoming contest.
