The University of Illinois Springfield men's tennis won its first dual of the season. The Prairie Stars earned a 5-2 win over Lindenwood in St. Charles, Mo.

UIS won every single matches between No. 2 and No. 5 to seal the victory. The Prairie Stars also earned a point for winning two of the three doubles matches.

Menno Servaes,
Alex Chan, and
Oscar Toro won both their singles and doubles matches. Servaes won No. 3 singles and his No. 2 doubles match with
Logan Burgess Hayes. Chan and Toro teamed up for a 6-4 win at No. 3 doubles. Chan also won his No. 4 singles match, and Toro was successful at No. 5 singles.
