SPRINGFIELD, Ill. - The University of Illinois Springfield women's basketball team travels to McKendree on Thursday for the season-finale. Tip-off is schedule for 5:30 p.m.

D-D-D...DefenseThe Prairie Stars rank in the top half of the conference in several defensive categories. UIS currenlty ranks eighth in scoring defense (65.7), fifth in field goal defense (38.7 percent) and fourth in three-point defense (30.3 percent).
Tourney Teams SetAll 12 teams have been decided for the 2015 GLVC Tourament this season. One game separates four teams as they fight for home court advantage in the first round.
Shooters ShootThe Prairie Stars are 4-1 this season when shooting at least 45 percent. The last time UIS hit that mark was on January 17 against Lewis when the team shot 53 percent.
RematchThe Bearcats defeated the Prairie Stars earlier this season, 70-61, in Springfield. UIS looks to return the favor with a win at the Melvin Price Convocation Center in Lebanon.
Owning the GlassUIS ranks fifth in the GLVC in rebounding (39.8 rpg) and is sixth in rebounding margin (+3.7). The Prairie Stars are 5-10 this season when they outrebound their opponent.
