SPRINGFIELD, Ill. - The University of Illinois Springfield women's basketball team travels to McKendree on Thursday for the season-finale. Tip-off is schedule for 5:30 p.m.

The Prairie Stars rank in the top half of the conference in several defensive categories. UIS currenlty ranks eighth in scoring defense (65.7), fifth in field goal defense (38.7 percent) and fourth in three-point defense (30.3 percent).

Tourney Teams Set
All 12 teams have been decided for the 2015 GLVC Tourament this season. One game separates four teams as they fight for home court advantage in the first round.

Shooters Shoot
The Prairie Stars are 4-1 this season when shooting at least 45 percent. The last time UIS hit that mark was on January 17 against Lewis when the team shot 53 percent.

Rematch
The Bearcats defeated the Prairie Stars earlier this season, 70-61, in Springfield. UIS looks to return the favor with a win at the Melvin Price Convocation Center in Lebanon.

Owning the Glass
UIS ranks fifth in the GLVC in rebounding (39.8 rpg) and is sixth in rebounding margin (+3.7). The Prairie Stars are 5-10 this season when they outrebound their opponent. Syerra Cunningham (5th) and Jessica Warren (10th) rank in the top 15 of the GLVC in rebounding.
