Briana Starks has thrived this season, coming off the bench in four of the team's five games. She is averaging 7 points and 6.2 rebounds per game. In the Prairie Stars' win against Robert Morris Springfield, she was one rebound shy of a double-double with 12 points and nine boards.
Hometown HeroThe game against Concordia-Chicago on November 19 was played in sophomore
Caroline Kelty's hometown of River Forest, Ill. She delivered her best game of the season thus far with 21 points and 10 rebounds in the win.
Magic Number is 45UISÂ shot a season-high 48.5 percent from the field in the November 24 win against Robert Morris Springfield. The Prairie Stars are 2-0 when shooting at least 45 percent and 0-3 when shooting lower than 45 percent.

Megan Bergerud wore for the past four years. Patterson has played well this season, leading the team in scoring (11.4 ppg) and assists (17) while scoring 20 points in two of the team's five games.
Oakland City (Division II Era): UIS Leads 5-3UIS is 5-3 against the Mighty Oaks since joining Division II in the 2009-10 season. The Prairie Stars won four of the last five contests with the only loss coming last season at home. The last time these teams met, UIS defeated OCU, 76-63, behind double-digit scoring efforts from then-juniors

This Season:This season the Mighty Oaks are 2-4 after three straight losses, two of which came at the hands of BYU-Hawaii. Raven Greer leads the team in scoring (18.7) and assists (29). The team is 0-2 on the road through six games.

The Prairie Stars have a week off before taking on Robert Morris Peoria on Wednesday, Dec. 10 at 7 p.m. It is the team's final home game in 2014.
